Nick Field is an experienced runner who came into The Running Lab program struggling with poor technique and a long term plantar fascia injury. In his story below, Nick tells us how his running and injury improved and how is back enjoying running again!
“I have been running for about 10 years now and just wish that I had undertaken The Running Lab’s program before I started. The improvements in my running efficiency have been very obvious.
In conjunction with work on strengthening my core I have increased my average pace from around 4.45min kms to around 4.25min kms. The changes to my running style have certainly made running easier and more enjoyable. I feel like I am running with less effort which of course translates to quicker times.
Prior to starting the Running lab course I also had a long term planta fascia injury which was mainly from poor running gait. This has now also healed completely which I believe is due to the Running Lab showing me how to be a more efficient and therefore less injury prone runner.
As far as I am concerned running shouldn’t feel like a chore and thanks to the Running Lab course, it no longer does. I’m really back and enjoying running fast and injury free.”
